...Even as our beloved Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
2 Peter 3:15-16
One of the most effective wiles of satan in straying the children of the Most High from the truth of the Word is distortion of Paul's teachings. Most Christians have no problem taking the words they perceive to be from Paul and completely trumping those spoken by the Messiah Himself. Just like the picture above states, "You cannot understand what Paul said without understanding what Paul read", we must realize that Paul's ministry was based solely on the foundation of the Old Testament (the New Testament wasn't even written at the time of his ministry)! Paul was an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin, and he was a Pharisee deeply versed in the laws, statutes, and judgments of the Most High. He spoke and wrote from an Israelite mindset, from Hebrew culture, and from the Hebrew Old Testament. As a result, we cannot read, study, or listen to Paul's writings from a Gentile perspective; otherwise, we fall into misunderstanding, wrestling with and misinterpreting the scriptures, unto our own destruction (just as Peter warned in 2 Peter 3:15-16).
Israelites, make sure your understanding of Paul's teachings is based on truth!
